Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a story of the exciting and terrifying journey of 4 people as they find the way through their youth; from their carefree laughter as they set off on a holiday together in their college days, until their bittersweet tears as they watch the first of their gang marrying.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani features two very opposite characters who were classmates at Modern School in the past. Naina Talwar (role played by Deepika Padukone in the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) is is a scholarly bespectacled young girl and Bunny (role played by Ranbir Kapoor in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani movie) is a happy-go-lucky young travel show host which a aim on breaking out of the prototype of getting an education, a career, a wife, children, retirement, and finally death.Bunny boards on a journey with his two best buddies with a wish to be free and live a life of wildness. Aditi (Kalki Koechlin) who is a tomboyish girl, and Avi (Aditya Roy Kapur) who is a comedic boy with a liking to do spoof all the time. Bunny meets Naina and invites her to spend time with him and his friends in Kashmir. As the two adult from the age of 21 to their 30′s, they become aware of their priorities, and understands their true desires and rejoice with madness, warmth, marriage, wildness, freedom, togetherness, reunions, friendship, breakups, family, and love.
